Help Skye Walk Again

During the rainstorm that took place yesterday, our 14 month old Husky/German Shepherd puppy managed to run out of the house. Despite our efforts to chase after her and get her back inside, we were unsuccessful. Due to the location of our house, being beside a major intersection, Skye ran onto the very busy street of Taunton Rd. Where despite the 60km/hr speed limit, she was hit by a car going 80km/hr. The driver didn’t even bother to get out the car to check if our dog was okay. As a result, Skye broke her pelvis, is undergoing constant IV treatment, and is in a current state of shock. She is unable to walk, stand up, or even urinate or pass a stool.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery for her pelvis is out of our family’s budget. So we kindly ask to please open your hearts to a pup in need of help and to a family that is willing to do anything and everything to fight for the life of not just simply a dog, but a member of the family. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
