Dear friends, family, and supporters of P Town,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. On Friday May 2nd 2025, we were the target of an unannounced inspection by approximately 20 Pennsylvania State Police officers and undercover agents in the middle of a show featuring the legendary Amanda Lepore that resulted in excessive fines and fees. This has placed an overwhelming financial burden on our small, community-driven bar, threatening our ability to keep our doors open.

For over 18 years, P Town has been more than just a bar. It’s been a place where people from all walks of life could gather, celebrate, feel safe, and be seen. We’ve hosted drag shows, benefits, birthdays, pride events, karaoke nights, and countless unforgettable memories. Our mission has always been to serve the community—not just drinks, but love, laughter, and a place to belong.

Now, we need your help.

The fines levied against us are beyond what any small business could endure alone. We believe the resulting penalties were disproportionate, and we’re working to resolve these amounts. But we can’t do it without you.

Your donation will go directly toward:

Paying down the +$60K in state-imposed fines

Assisting with over +$20K in mandatory property renovations. (Some of which have already been completed)

Assisting in legal fees needed to appeal for a reduction in fines.

Keeping P Town open for the community for the foreseeable future.
