My name is Cllr Dawn Allen-Williamson, an elected representative from Watford, UK. I was born and raised in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and I'm heartbroken to witness the devastation caused by the recent hurricane that tore through our beloved country and parish.
Many families in St. Elizabeth have lost everything, homes, crops, schools, and even essential facilities like Black River Hospital, where I was born, have been severely damaged. People are struggling to access food, clean water, and medical care, and the community is in urgent need of support.
Now, a week after the storm, we are beginning to grasp the full extent of the damage, which will take time to recover from. Seeing the place I grew up in suffer like this has been truly heart breaking.
How Your Donation Will Help

- Providing food, clean water, and emergency supplies to families in need.
- Rebuilding homes and vital community infrastructure.
- Assisting local hospitals and clinics affected by the storm.
We are also arranging drop of points for anyone who wish to donate items directly.
