Laverne's (Lovey's) friends are trying to raise money for our best friend whom we consider to be our sister. She really needs our help right now as she is seriously ill. Since we cannot help her medically we are trying to help her financially. She has a rare form of Cancer (Leiomyosarcoma) which is draining in many ways. She has suffered for almost 4 years although she hides it very well. She has had years of surgeries, and chemos but In recent months it has really been heartbreaking suffering. Her husband Eric, has had a very hard time keeping his business going since he is by her side and taking care of Lea there beautiful young daughter. Please help us in achieving our goal. Many of you know Laverne as a quiet and intelligent person. Those of you who know her more personally know how special and strong she is. I consider her my best friend but as quiet as she is, she has had and still has sooo many best friends, she is also blessed with a wonderful Husband and daugher, family and AMAZING in laws . Not until these last years did I see how truly strong both she and her husband Eric are. I never once heard her say " why me"...she is my hero in so many ways. They have a beautiful daughter Lea and she is fighting for her and Eric like I have never seen someone fight. I am sure they would all appreciate your help. PS Laverne would not ever ask that I do this but she doesnt know :)
