The pictures above are only SOME of the animals we have already helped within the last 2 weeks...and that isn't all of them! Please help this community project!

Our goals are:
- To educate our residents of the importance of fixing & vaccinating your pets & keeping them safely confined in fenced areas.
- To work with & form a relationship with our city run shelter to help increase adoptions, & reunite owners with lost pets... Eventually would be great to become a No Kill city!
- To vet & Re-home dumped or injured animals into foster & permanent homes.

We will need help. You can foster, donate, volunteer. Please... It takes a village and right now there are just a few of us doing this out of our homes, and out of our own pockets.

OK....CALLING ALL DC AND SURROUNDING AREA ANIMAL LOVERS!!!!!!!! We are starting a RESCUE FUND for animals who are lost and found and need emergency care here in DC at the Vet Clinic! "DC PAW RESCUE"!!! Over the last week some friends and I have rescued several animals that were in need of help finding a home and/or medical attention! Never did I DREAM this would be a problem here in little DC but IT IS! Over the next few weeks we will be trying to organize a rescue group for our little community...BUT AS OF NOW...WE COULD USE THE COMMUNITY'S HELP!!! RIGHT NOW...we have 2 dogs at the vet we are helping...IF YOU CAN HELP WITH THIS EMERGENCY FUND, PLEASE....you can DONATE at the vet clinic here and ALL FUNDS WILL GO TO THIS INJURED ANIMALS ACCOUNT! This is NOT an account where anyone who just can't pay their bill can draw on...this is TRULY A RESCUE FUND WE ARE SETTING UP!!! PLEASE HELP US SHOW THAT OUR COMMUNITY WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
