PTHA's Turning for Home, Inc. is the racehorse retirement program at Parx Racing. Our mission is to provide an alternative to auction and slaughter for Parx horses and we have been supported since 2008 by the PTHA horsemen, Parx Racing, Owners and Jockeys via per race donations, and the PHBA. All donations go to the care of our beloved horses for surgery, rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming via donations to carefully approved farms. Most of our farms have been working with us for over 9 years.

Turning for Home Day @Parx is on October 10, 2022, this year, and we are trying to raise funds as part of our Outreach at Parx. TFH Day events include Best Turned Out Awards for Grooms as well as free T-Shirts for them, Video presentations between races highlighting our retired racehorses in their next careers, Live Demos of retired horses, Merchandise tables and a luncheon for our top donors.

In order to put a day on, that let's the public know where our horses go after racing, we need funding. Any funding over the day goes directly towards the care of our retirees.
