Kelly is 33 years old, and a single mom of Brandon who is 7 years old. Kelly has been misdiagnosed for over 25 years. Every doctor she went to had told her she had a many different illnesses. They kept giving her medicine after medicine, for things problems she didn't end up having. The past few years she has been going downhill fast. After laparoscopy surgery for endometriosis Kelly became paralyzed, unable to walk, and seizures daily. Her body completely crashed overnight. The surgery was a major stressor which brought out all the dormant infections. She was diagnosed almost a year and a half ago, with Chronic Lyme Disease, Babesia and Bartonella too. Kelly has been in treatment for over a year with oral antibiotics with no improvement. Her LLMD is soon going to be starting IV antibiotics. With severe neurological complications the IV antibiotics help cross the blood brain barrier.


She is currently going back and forth an hour away to an environmental Dr who has diagnosed her with Severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, that may be genetic. He believes she had mercury poisoning from amalgams in her teeth, she will have to get all her teeth fixed. While Kelly was pregnant, she had passed the Lyme Disease to Brandon. He also suffers from Lyme Disease, and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Brandon was misdiagnosed for 7 years as well with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder.Kelly and Brandon have to travel 6 hours one way out of state to a LLMD (Lyme Literate MD) for treatment. The CDC and IDSA currently do not recognize Chronic Lyme Disease. Dr's cannot treat Chronic Lyme Disease without risking losing their license and being sued by insurance companies. Since Chronic Lyme Disease is denied, LLMD'S do not accept insurance and treatment is out of pocket.


Kelly was a full time hair stylist for 14 years, she loved doing it. She also had full time job being a mom. For anyone who knows her, knows she did everything with Brandon, and loved it. They're close as can be. They did everything together. She went from doing everything, to barely being able to get up and get food for herself. She has been bedridden for the past year or more. Kelly no longer has an income to support her or Brandon. She has to use a cane, and a wheel chair when she goes places. When she absolutely has to for doctor appotments, and when she goes to Brandons events at his school. Even then she has such a hard time.

This disease can become deadly, having it for so long. Not being treated when it needed to be. Now her and Brandon are struggling. Kelly has lost 40 lbs, and cant afford to lose anymore.
