On Tuesday, May 16, the house of our family members Chris and Sarah Ptak caught fire, leaving them without a permanent home for the time being. While thankfully no one was hurt, they’re left with almost nothing and the immense stress of rebuilding a comfortable life with their sons, William and Alex.
They’re not people to ask for a handout, and they’ve worked hard for everything they have. Chris and Sarah met in the Marine Corps, and they served their country before building a life for the two children they’ve raised. They’ve selflessly given to others, and I’m hoping to give back at a time when they need it the most.
