August 8th, 2015 "Billy" was attending a friend's child's baptism when a random act of violence left him in critical care. Billy was getting ready to leave the party when two men approached him & began opening fire. Billy was struck between 5-7 times in the neck, arm, shoulder & abdomen. Friends preformed CPR and were able to call 911 to get him to the hospital quickly then the fight for his life began. Billy immediately went into surgery he lost his spleen, a kidney, damaged his heart, lungs, liver & has shattered every bone in his arm. He currently is on respirators & is in critical but stable condition with his family and close friends by his side.
Billy served time in Afghanistan & is known by many people as a loving intelligent man. Currently he was working as a paralegal in Los Angeles and finishing his degree to become a lawyer. This senseless tragedy has left us all at a loss for words. Billy served time for his country and ends up gunned down in his hometown by random violence. We are asking for anything that can help at this difficult time for medical expenses, and to cover bills until he is able to get back on his feet. There is still an ongoing investigation please do not use his real name.
Thank you for your kind words, support & any donations.
