Help Bring Robinson Home

¡Hola! My name is Andrea Rodriguez, and I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for support. I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for my dad, Robinson Rodriguez, who is currently battling Legionnaires' Disease while hospitalized in Athens, Greece.

On August 1st, my parents embarked on what was supposed to be a dream vacation in Europe. However, their journey took an unforeseen turn when my dad fell seriously ill. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and he was diagnosed with Legionnaires' Disease, a severe form of pneumonia. Since Sunday, August 13th, my dad has been in the ICU, fighting for his life.

Currently, Robinson is sedated and intubated, and despite all efforts, his condition has not improved significantly. The medical bills are piling up, and my mom, who is alone in a foreign country, is shouldering the burden of both the expenses and emotional strain.

Due to my dad's critical condition, my parents' return home, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 16th, has been indefinitely postponed. My mom is facing the daunting challenge of managing lodging costs, daily living expenses, and the exorbitant medical bills, all while anxiously waiting for my dad's recovery.

This is where we need your help. We humbly ask for your support in easing the financial burden on my mom and ensuring that my dad receives the best possible care.
