Tammy Tritt

Tammy is a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. Sunday morning she and her family were leaving Myrtle Beach coming home and Tammy had severe pain in her right leg, the hospital sent her to MUSC by ambulance and she was put into emergency surgery, she had a tear in her blood vessel in her right leg, when the surgeons were working her veins continued to tear making closing her up very difficult. She was in surgery for 9 hours Sunday, they opened both legs to check her left side. Monday the pressure was building in her left leg and the doctor opened the lower part of her leg to relieve pressure which sent a hemotomia up her leg which sent her back into immediate surgery again. 10 more hours in surgery and they completely replaced her blood vessels in her left leg with prosthetics. She will remain sedated and intibated until Wednesday when she will go back into surgery to close the 9 lacerations she has on her body. Tuesday mornig they had to move the IV again from her hand and place in her neck as her hand was sweelling very bad. This has completely thrown her family and friends for a loop. They need assistance with the multiple expenses in the weeks and months ahead. She will remain in ICU for a week and in hospital for at least another week.
