If you don’t know me, hello hi, my name is Theo, my pronouns are he/they and I’m a 26 year old trans man looking for help from my community to fund my top surgery! I moved to Canada from Brazil 3 years ago and am not a permanent resident here, which means I don’t have the option of applying for OHIP to cover the cost of my surgery and so I need your help! I have been saving my own money, but surgery is expensive and $10000 is more than I can save by myself, in this economy????

I am planning to have top surgery with Dr. Rayisa Hontscharuk at Toronto Plastic Surgery. I had a very positive experience at my consultation with her and feel really confident choosing her as my surgeon. She is affirming, kind, passionate about helping the trans community, and does top surgeries almost every day in Toronto. Hopefully, with your help one of those surgeries will be mine soon!!

Having top surgery means everything to me. It means safety in passing as a man, it means comfort and freedom (binding suuuuucks and it's dangerous), it means affirmation from myself and others, and it means finally looking in the mirror and seeing the person I know I am.
