It is with a very heavy heart that I share this story. Just a few days ago, our beloved Pastor Ruth Kahawa lost her husband Basil. Many of us know and love Pastor Ruth and her whole family and some of us have had the pleasure of getting to know Basil. He was a wonderful, patient and generous man. 

We would like to honor the family by helping them pay for the funeral as well helping the family get back on their feet financially after this severe tragedy. Basil took excellent care of his family both emotionally and financially. Now that he is gone, we need to join together and help Pastor Ruth and her whole family as they get through this hard time. We are hoping to raise $5,000 to support the family. Basil has gone to be with Jesus, but he leaves behind his wife and his children who need help. Let's all be a family and support them.
