Psychotherapy for Marginalized
Donation protected
Often, members of minority and marginalized groups have the greatest need for therapy to help recover from injurious life experiences and environments. However, for the same reason, they are also the most likely to be unable to afford treatment.
This Therapy Scholarship helps to fund therapy for low-income individuals with a qualified professional therapist.
Most applicants occupy at least two minority identity statuses, such as ability, race, gender, orientation, or others. Treating therapist(s) will approve clients' appropriateness for treatment and need for assistance.
Last year 40 sessions were provided at low or no cost to the client.
