Hello, my name is Aaron Elshoff and my brother, Jason needs your help.
On May 18, 1988 Jason Elshoff came into this world with only one functioning kidney. His other kidney was not helping to remove the toxins from his body and had become a liability. The answer to this dilemma was for doctors to remove the non-functioning kidney.
Fast forward 27 years and Jason's one remaining kidney has started to fail. In July 2015 he went to his family doctor for yearly lab work only to find that his creatinine level (a measurement of how a kidney is performing); had jumped up tremendously. Seemingly, overnight he had gone from having one working kidney to end stage renal failure.
Over the last seven months he has spent more time in a hospital than he had in the twenty years prior. He has had a stint put in, weekly lab work, and his diet has been dissected all in an effort to get his kidney back on track. Unfortunately these modifications have been to no avail; Jason will need to have a kidney transplant as soon as one is available.
That is where all of you come into play. When Jason is successful in finding a match, he will immediately go to the University of Louisville Hospital for surgery; whereby he will spend up to ten days there recuperating. Upon arriving back at home he will have limitations that will not allow him to work for at least two months. This lack of income from work (possibly much longer than two months) coupled with the dozens of trips to Louisville, immunosuppression medications for life, and all medical bills from surgery will create a burden too large for him to bear alone.
I am asking for your help in covering these incredible costs. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and consideration during this unfortunate situation.
