Mi nombre es Jessica Pizarro y hoy les quiero hablar de mi hija Omaris. Omaris fue diagnosticada con una rara condicion llamada Bronquiestacia Crónica Pulmonar a sus 10 años de edad. La condicion es degenerativa y no tiene cura.  Recientemente arrojó positivo a Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, la cual afecta grandemente su funcion pulmonar a medida que pasan los años. Esta condición le a causado bacterias en sus pulmones afectandole su funcion pulmonar con un 42%.  Luego de muchas hospitalizaciones y años de tratamiento en PR, necesita viajar al UNC Hospital en Carolina del Norte, lugar   donde esta el especialista en la condicion y poder asi evaluar alternativas para su tratamiento. Omaris necesita viajar cada 3 meses a Carolina del Norte para recibir Los tratamientos para esta condicion los cuales son sumamente costosos y ya se me hace imposible absorberlos en su totalidad. En adición a todo esto ella necesita recibir un tratamiento en la casa con diferentes antibióticos inhalados los cuales también son costosos. Omaris tiene muchas metas y sueños, actualmente se encuentra en la universidad  y de este viaje depende su calidad de vida en un futuro no lejano. Hoy acudo a tu buen corazon para que ayudes a Omaris en esta nueva etapa. Se que con la generosidad de todos ustedes encontraremos un tratamiento que de resultados. Gracias por su apoyo.

Hi everyone my name is Jessica and today i would like to talk to you about my daughter Omaris. At 10 years old she was diagnosed with Bronchiectasis and recently she found out she has Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. The condition is degenerative and doesn't have a cure. Its affecting her lungs and her pulmonary function is at 42%. After many hospitalizations and treatments here in Puerto Rico we decided to travel to John Hopkins Hospital to be evaluated by another specialist in hopes for an alternative treatment. The treatments she's currently receiving are not working and they are very expensive. Omaris has many goals and dreams and her quality of life depends on this trip. Today i ask from your heart so you may help Omaris in this new stage of life. I know with your generosity we will find a treatment that gives results. Thanks for your support.
