I have been contemplating telling my story for a while.
This is hard to discuss and even harder to put in writing and the pictures, the most difficult to share. I first got this autoimmune disease in 2013. In 2015, my psoriasis, started to spread across my face and body. This disease has made me depressed, in constant pain, and the visual side effects are devastating. This diagnosis has been life altering and has effected every part of my life. I have been an advocate for healthy life styles for many years and this disease has stopped this standard living.
It makes one become a recluse. I have seen many specialists and have taken natural remedies to try to cure or at least help the disease. My life was in such a state of agony the doctor suggested harsher life altering drugs. After learning about the severity of the chemo-type prescription drugs, which has horrible life threatening side effects, I started researching. I started educating myself about alternative treatments such as stem cell.
The past year of my life has been very traumatic with lots of soul searching. During this time, I have followed my gut feeling and researched advancements in stem cell. I have learned how amazing our own cells can be to cure or help many health issues. Finally, after many calls, emails and research, there is finally options available specific for psoriasis sufferers. I have been lucky enough to speak to a doctor who specializes in this procedure. To be a candidate, for this procedure, will cost money. This life changing treatment is expensive. Through My Go Fund Me page, I would like to find the means to get better, back on my feet and then help people like me who suffer from psoriasis and other autoimmune issues. I want to become an advocate for stem cell treatments. I am humbly asking friends and family to help.
