Hey everyone

I’ve finally landed in Jamaica and had some time to get my head around what’s really needed on the ground. So many of you have reached out asking how to help, and I didn’t want to just send out random links — this page is just for my friends and family who want to contribute directly and know exactly where their support is going.

Over the past few days, people have been donating smaller items like baby food, toiletries, and clothing, which has been amazing. But there’s also a huge need for building materials, because so many families have nowhere to sleep.

Right now, one of the biggest priorities is tarpaulin — a heavy-duty material used to cover roofs and protect homes from the rain. Some families still have the structure of their homes standing, but their roofs have been completely blown off or are badly damaged. The immediate goal is to patch these roofs so people have somewhere dry to sleep and can safely store recovery materials.

I’m working with a local supplier here in Jamaica to get a discounted rate on tarpaulin, which we’ll distribute to families in the west of the island. We’ve made contact with around 50 families in need, but to keep things manageable and ensure real impact, I’m focusing on helping 15 families first.
