It is with a heavy heart that I write this! Tammy Laughren's (formerly Wiggin) husband, Patrick, has passed away. His loss has impacted Tammy emotionally, but it has also impacted her financially. They were together almost 15 years but they didn't get officially married until March of this year. They had to be married for 9 months in order for Tammy to receive his social security benefits, a year for any VA benefits, and two years for his life insurance benefits. Since that did not happen, Tammy will not receive any of those benefits. Tammy is the person that everyone goes to, ready to lend a helping hand wherever she can! Let us help her, the same way she has helped so many of us throughout the years!
