HELP VALENCIA

Hello everybody,

My name is Paula and I am from Valencia (Spain).

As you know, a week ago heavy rains in the interior of Valencia caused the main river to overflow, which had a domino effect in 69 villages until it reached the sea, causing a lot of damage: entire families have lost everything, as well as dozens of dead and missing people. I have many friends in the affected areas and the situation is very difficult.

I have decided to create this GoFundMe campaign because I know there are many of you who want to help but can't be in Valencia in person and don't know how to do it reliably. I want to assure you that all funds raised will go towards the needs of those affected, prioritising those who have the least access to help and resources.

I would like to thank you all for following the emergency situation in Valencia. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go towards rebuilding lives and restoring hope to those affected by this catastrophe.

Me llamo Paula y soy de Valencia (España).

Como sabéis, hace una semana las fuertes lluvias en el interior de Valencia provocaron el desbordamiento del río principal, que tuvo un efecto dominó en 69 pueblos hasta llegar al mar, causando muchísimos daños: familias enteras lo han perdido todo, además de decenas de muertos y desaparecidos. Tengo muchos amigos en las zonas afectadas y la situación es muy grave.

He decidido crear esta campaña de GoFundMe porque sé que sois muchos los que queréis ayudar pero no podéis estar en Valencia en persona y no sabéis cómo hacerlo de forma segura y fiable. Quiero aseguraros que todos los fondos recaudados irán destinados a las necesidades de los afectados, priorizando a los que menos acceso tienen a ayuda y recursos.

Me gustaría daros las gracias a todos por seguir la situación de emergencia en Valencia. Cada aportación, por pequeña que sea, irá destinada a reconstruir vidas y devolver la esperanza a los afectados por esta catástrofe.
