Nikki's Road to Recovery

Hi my name is Latosha, I am raising funds for my Sister-in-Law Notacki (Nikki) Pugh-Ellis. Nikki is a beautiful person inside and out. She is a loving, caring, devoted wife and mother. Her husband and children's world literally revolves around her. On Sunday Sept. 19th, 2021 their world was turned upside down when Nikki complained of a bad headache, passed out and was rushed to the hospital. Next thing we knew she is having brain surgery! Nikki suffered from a brain aneurysm and bleeding on the brain. She is only 40 years old, had no real health issues so this was so unexpected. Nikki and Gerod (my brother) meet in 2002 and were married in 2017. They bought their first home just last month and depleted their savings on the down payment. Nikki is a school bus driver for Dekalb County Schools , at this point we have no idea how long before she can return to work. My brother works in construction but can't work at this time because he has to take care of the kids and he is staying by his wife's side during her recovery. The Doctor's say she needs someone there watching her because often she is confused and tries to pull the tubes from her head and chest. Our family is extremely grateful that Nikki survived this horrible ordeal. Her road to recovery will be challenging and expensive and that's the reason our family is asking for help.
