Today we lost a wonderful woman. Cindy was recently diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, as well as renal cell carcinoma. Cindy was battling not one but two different cancers, but you wouldn't know it because she still showed up with a smile everyday. Cindy had just begun Chemotherapy when a deadly infection plagued her body and threw her into septic shock. She had the fight of her life on her hands and still managed to crack jokes, talk about work, and repeatedly tell everyone she loved them. Unfortunately her body was just too weak to fight off the infection. Cindy loved her children more than anything and everything on earth. She LIVED for them but they weren't the only kids Cindy had Mrs. Cindy was THE lunch lady of Gibson Elementary school.. she often told us she had hundreds of kids, because they were all her kids. She helped literally feed the children and families of this town.

I'd love to give her the send off she deserves & I'd love to take some of this off her children's shoulders. Anything helps, including a share, a memory, and/ or a prayer.
