Hi, My name is Lucas, I am 13 and I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy(DMD).  I really love all sports and it was really hard when I couldn't play anymore until I found Power Soccer.  Power Soccer is a sport you play in Wheelchairs. For the first few years it was just for fun but our team, the Northeast Passage Power Cats, are getting much better at it and want to be a true competitive team.  And I am determined  to be the best player that I can be.  In order to do that, I am trying to raise money that will help me to get  a real Power Soccer chair. Real Power Soccer chairs help you keep up with other players and shoot the ball faster and better.   We applied for a grant through the Challenged Athletes Foundation and I was so excited when I got it but it only covers a small amount.  Thank you for reading and thank you if you decide to help.
