Charlotte Braun Dance Studio

Charlotte Braun Dance Studio has had a presence in the Parma Heights and Greater Cleveland Community for over 50 years.  The studio has been in the capable hands of Patty Nowak-Briggs for the past 19 years.  As a result of this current COVID-19 crisis, Patty is not able to hold classes and, therefore, is not collecting tuition from all of her students.  Though these are mandated “stay at home” closures, her landlord is not willing to offer any relief to her and is expecting rent to be paid in full by April 15 and each month after to avoid financial penalties and eviction.  The next rent payment is due by April 15, so we are sending out this request to all families, students and those who appreciate the arts, to help raise the funds for April and May rent ($5,000) to ensure that instruction will continue at Charlotte Braun Dance Studio for years to come.

The group organizing this campaign represents parents, former students and friends of Patty and Charlotte Braun Dance Studio.  Patty has provided not only dance instruction but also life lessons on responsibility, care and compassion.  This opportunity needs to be available to current and future students once this health crisis is past and life can return to “normal”. 

Charlotte Braun Dance Studio has provided a sanctuary for countless young dancers over the years, many of whom have continued their education in dance, fitness and other health related fields as a result of their years of exposure to the discipline and joy of dancing.  Those who have moved into college and adulthood having danced at Charlotte Braun are ever grateful for that experience and joyfully return “home” to the dance studio at any opportunity to share the memories and life lessons learned.  Let’s make sure the lives of countless more young dancers can be touched at his amazing studio.  Donations can be made through this campaign or send a donation directly to Patty at the studio:
