P.S. 68 Soapbox Derby Competition

Consider donating to the P.S. 68 Bronx Elementary School Soap Box Derby Team. No donation is too small! Your donation will directly impact 10 Soap Box Derby champions, their families, and coaches for a trip to Akron, Ohio, to compete in the FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby® at the world-famous Derby Downs Track. The event will take place from July 16 to July 23, 2023. The International Soap Box Derby is a non-profit youth education and leadership development organization whose mission is to build knowledge and character and to create meaningful experiences through fair and honest racing competitions, STEM curriculums, and other community-focused activities. Your contribution will provide a unique opportunity to change the lives of 10 Bronx children.

The P.S. 68 Soapbox derby team started this journey in February 2023. The school entered the 2023 District 11 Soapbox Derby event for the first time. The team faced many challenges and obstacles; students worked hard to build the winning car and made it to the competition. Unfortunately, the school doesn't have the funds to sponsor all 10 students, their families, and their coaches. Therefore we are asking for sponsorship to send our hardworking students to this event. The funds will cover the cost of airfare, hotel, and food. Our mission is to win the nationals. Thank you in advance for your support and donation.
