Youth Basketball Team Fund Raiser

For the past (3) years, I have volunteered my weekends to organize during the playing season to coach a team of young boys and girls for the United Sports Youth League (USYL). This is a youth basketball league that operates within the New York City Metro Area and offers children the opportunity to build camaraderie, sports & leadership skills as well as be mentored by role models that may not be present in their family life.
Each of the 10 children who participate in our team have their own personal dreams that differ in many aspects, but are the same in at least one respect. They all, along with the two voluntary coaches, have a goal of competing to win as a TEAM.
Any of the funds received will be used to pay for our team’s admittance into the league, team uniforms, referee fees, gymnasium rentals, travel costs and meals (including water during games) for the children. Any help offered would be very much appreciated.
It takes a village to raise our children the right way, I am just taking the initiative to fulfill the purpose I was given in life.
