Przyjaciel acquire a new car for mother

Hey all, most of you know me as Serdy, Przyjaciel, or Ocelot. A short while ago (6/24/2025) while driving home from work, I hit a deer with my mother's car, causing multiple thousands of dollars in damage in paint work alone. After arguing with the insurance company all day, they're adamant about not paying anywhere near enough to fix the damage properly, and refuse to write the vehicle off or total it for a payout towards getting a new car. My mother doesn't have the stress capacity to argue with a big insurance company, and we can't afford a lawyer or anything like that, so that kinda leaves us up shit's creek without a paddle.

While many of you know I have my own car, due to the nature of living in rural New York, sharing a car between two of us is not feasible, as I personally work 5 days a week, from sunrise to sunset. My mother has been going through some pretty serious medical issues, and her appointments pretty much always overlap with my work hours, so I'm putting this up in the hopes of raising enough funds to be able to get a down payment for her on a new car, or to be able to raise enough funds to repair the old car, if the target is reached. Big doubt on that, though.
