Support Zachary's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On May 30th Zachary “Worm” Opfer woke up with extreme chest pain out of nowhere had called 911 not being able to breathe, move or talk. When the Ambulance arrived they took him straight to the Emergency Room. Immediately got a EKG(scan for heart attacks) and a X-ray. They found a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) on his left side and went into emergency surgery. They put a chest tube in to keep his lung inflated
June 1st: He was sleeping and his pneumothorax came back, while he was asleep his lung was deflating again due to the first chest tube being put in wrong/ having a kink in it . They replaced the tube the very next morning
June 3rd: His Lung was collapsing again when he woke up so they ripped the old tube out and made a whole new insertion for a new chest tube in a different spot in his lung to drain fluid building up .
June 5th: They took out the chest tube and he was able to breathe on his own again for the first time in a week
Then he was released June 6th.

All together more than 50 tests ran
Around 20 x rays
2 EKG scans
2 MRI scans
2 pneumothorax surges (4 if included taking out the tubes)
3 chest tubes
Oxygen tubes for when he was sleeping

All of this happened without Worm having health insurance. If you know him you know he’s not one to ask for handouts so hopefully this can help make a dent in his medical bills. He’s going to have a long road to recovery and probably many more doctor visits and check ups. He could use any help with this entire situation. He’s one of the “Best Dudes” always trying to be positive and making jokes even while laying in his hospital bed.
