Heart Surgery for George Missick
Donation protected
My uncle, George C. Missick, who lives in the Bahamas, is in dire need of heart surgery. He initially received medical treatment in Freeport, Bahamas but had to be transferred to Nassau, Bahamas where better resources were available.
Unfortunately, the hospital in Nassau is unable to perform the heart surgery necessary to restore his health so the family is seeking financial assistance to transport and admit him to a facility in the USA. To do so, a $140,000 deposit is required by the accepting hospital.
If at least 140,000 people gave $1, the goal would be met.
Now that I've stated the important facts I'll tell you a little bit about my uncle.
As a kid, I remember staying with my uncle (and fam) on holidays. As soon as I entered the door, he greeted me with a huge hug and smile. He was always as excited to see me as I was him. Once I got settled, he would make sure food was prepared for me. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for me ,within his powers, to make sure I was comfortable.... When the visits came to an end, he would always put money in my hand and send me off with well wishes.
Now that I'm older, I've made it my duty to reciprocate the gesture. And that's why I'm pleading now for your assistance. He is probably one of the kindest people I know. I wouldn't want to know his life was lost because of money... Because he always gave
