“Recently, Honor Health Shea Scottsdale Medical Center has become my home away from home. It was an unplanned and quite shocking arrangement however I’m not one bit regretful of being here.

 

Even though I’m isolated for reasons that are obvious from loved ones, I’m surrounded by such a beautiful team of angels around the clock that I have to say I’m one lucky lady.

 

I have not been well the past six months, I’ve had good days and bad days, multiple diagnosis Until just about a week ago… one that scared me dearly, acute myeloid leukemia.

 

AML is uncommon affecting about 20,240 people in the United States a year, it’s scary but definitely not a death sentence so please do not see it that way.”
