Help Chris Get His Life Back

Chris Turner has been a hard worker all his life.  Driving a truck to support his family, volunteering as a firefighter and fire chief for years, serving both his family and his community.  He has degenerative disk syndrome, and for the past several months, the pain has been unbearable because the disk is compromising his sciatic nerve.  He hasn't been able to work since November. He hadn't been able to fish or truly enjoy any of our family activities. He hasn't been able to put his all into the fire department either and he misses helping everyone. 

Finally, we have a surgeon who is willing to fix him.  We do have insurance but the deductible and co-pays are high.  Our part of the doctor fees alone is almost $1600; I can only imagine what the hospital part will be.  Being so early in the year, we've not met a fraction of the deductible yet.  Not to mention the wages he's lost being of work already in addition to the time he'll remain off work for recovery. 

I want to help him get his life back, to get his quality of life back, and according to the doctors, this is the only way.  His surgery has been scheduled for January 26th. It was planned for later but when the doctor saw his last MRI this week he wanted to do it sooner.  

Please help me get my husband back.  Help my kids get their daddy back.  Help our community get their fire chief back.
