Heart Transplant recovery for Brian Pitts
Donation protected
Hi ya'll. Our friend Brian was recently gifted with the most amazing gift of a new donated heart. Brian was born with bad ticker and had been treating it with various meds and devices since his late 20's. Even with those on board, Brian's original heart started to fail a few months ago. By the grace of God, Brian was matched with a donor heart, and received his new ticker on April 23rd.
The recovery for this intensive series of procedures is long and the most valuable healing tool we can offer Brian is time; time to heal, time to care for himself with all his extensive followup appointments and therapies. Naturally, he is not able to work and times are tight trying to keep it all together right now.
Now, if you know Brian and Susan, these are not folks to simply sit back and accept charity. Miraculously, Susan has been working full-time through all of this. Before the transplant, Brian was fully engaged helping to run their multiple businesses and was the other half of the dynamic photography team from Pitts Photography. These two help others capture the most important moments of their lives; our wedding days, new babies, Senior moments, and family togetherness. For many of us who know them, they serve a critical roll in documenting life's most prescious and loving moments. They fundraise for others. Susan serves our community on the city council. They work as a team to ensure our communities have access to the medications they need through the form of CBD and various other healing methods.
It's our turn to help them.
I ask you to share what you can. I know it's tight for all of us right now, but many drips of water serve to make an ocean. Give what you can. Share if you cannot give. Let's help them get over this hump and alleviate some financial stress while Brian continues to heal.
Lastly, please consider becoming an organ donor when you check out of this place. Someone else could really use your leftover parts.
