My big sister Amber has been battling a very rare condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) for the past two years. This medical tragedy resulted from a Doctor making a huge mistake and hitting her Brachial Plexus nerve while giving her a cortisone shot in her right shoulder! This chronically painful condition has ruined her life. Not only does she have almost no functionality of her right arm at all, but she is also in extreme pain all day everyday. This is known as a "Suicide disease" because most people can't live with the intense non-stop pain and end up committing suicide. Nothing she has tried provides her with relief, and if it does it is very little/temporary relief.

Recently, Amber had been admitted into the hospital for a scheduled hospital stay. With what her doctor had projected there were high hopes that her stay at the hospital would result in a better life with less pain! Unfortunately, just the opposite happened and she hit an all time low being discharged from the hospital with even more pain and mental trauma than she had initially had before her hospital stay. Now she has run out of hope and there aren't many options left when it comes to surviving this battle and recovering from a condition this severe. I am doing everything I can to help her but one thing I can't do is take her pain away and I would give anything to do that if I could!

However, there is one option that
will help and research has shown as being an effective treatment with the possibility of regression. That treatment is known as "medically induced Ketamine"! This treatment involves intravenously infusing the drug through a series of time intervals while counteracting the process with other pharmaceuticals.
The reason why I am trying to raise money for this treatment is because it is very costly and there are no medical insurances that will cover costs for this specific procedure. And with worker's comp finally cutting the cords, there is no way Amber can afford a treatment plan that is this expensive.

Her husband works full time but is unable to provide the finances for this procedure being that their 6 year old daughter (my niece) needs to be taken care of and the expenses of living over-run their house hold. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as she is literally hanging on by a thread. If she doesn't catch a break soon I'm afraid she may do the unthinkable. Please help me make this treatment possible for her so that she can finally get some relief from her pain and suffering!
