Hey everyone! I decided to start this fundraiser in memory of Rhiannon. Our goal with this fundraiser is to get Rhiannon a memorial stone at the Vernonia Cemetery. Rhiannon has been cremated but several friends have mentioned having a memorial to visit in her honor. Rhiannon was a friend to many, a mother to a young daughter, a sister, a daughter and a light in our community. The loss of her life has weighed heavy on our small town. Our goal with this is to have a spot to sit and reflect on the many memories we all have. 16 years ago right after graduating high school Rhiannon suffered a TBI after a severe car accident. She was in a coma for a period of time and when she woke up she had to relearn to walk, speak, eat and drink and eventually learned to live life again. Many of us know her TBi changed her from the Rhiannon we all knew in high school to another young woman we all grew to love. The power of depression from her TBi overcame her several times but she always pushed through and continued to look on the bright side of life and continued to bring smiles to everyone she came across. She was taken from all of us far too soon by the hands of an evil man. While I hope and pray justice truly will be served, we still face the fact that she is now gone forever and only our memories of her will remain in our hearts. Whether it was the Rhi you knew before her car accident or the one you came to love after, we would all like a place to sit in peace and remember all the good times we have had with her.
