We are the Tafoya family, and this is our brother Gary. He lived in Las Vegas and after our parents passed, he was alone there. Like many folks now days, he ended up on the streets and life was so hard for him. He didn't want to leave Las Vegas because he had a dog that was exceptionally beloved to him and absolutely would not leave her. She had to be an only pet, and all of us sisters had pets of our own. His Little Bits was everything to him. He wouldn't even stay in the hospital for any length of time, because he wanted to get back to her as soon as he could. His caretaker LJ attested that he would not eat to make sure she was fed, and would give her the blanket if there was only one. She always came before he did. We were able to chip in together and make sure Gary and Little's had a motel room to keep them as comfortable as possible, but Gary suffered every day of his life for the past 5 years. Now the Lord has taken him home, and beings that funerals are so very expensive now days we are needing help to give Gary a decent send off. His dog, Little Bits, will miss him terribly, but Gary's caretaker has fallen in love with her, and he will now keep Little's as his own. Gary was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Not only did we lose Gary on Sat. April 4, 2020, but our other brother Steve passed away the very next day. We had 2 brothers, now we have none. Our hearts are broken, but we have faith that God don't make mistakes and nothing will shake our faith. We love you Gary. May God wrap his arms around you and Steve .... together.... You and Steve both are walking on 2 legs again!! No more pain. Only love....That's Right!!
