Urgent Relief for Myanmar Earthquake Victims

On March 28, 2025, a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, with the Mandalay and Sagaing regions suffering the worst damage. This was the most powerful earthquake to hit Myanmar since 1912 and the second deadliest in modern history. The destruction was catastrophic, affecting not only Myanmar but also parts of neighboring Thailand.

Over 1,600 lives lost (and counting)

More than 3,500 people injured

100+ missing, including those trapped in a collapsed construction site

2,000+ homes destroyed in the Mandalay region alone

Thousands have been left homeless, injured, and in desperate need of help. With Myanmar under military rule and ongoing conflict, aid is extremely difficult to access, and many survivors are left without shelter, food, clean water, and basic necessities.

Who Am I & Why I Am Raising Funds

My name is Htet Tun, and I am a Burmese citizen currently living in Canada. Seeing my home country suffer this unimaginable tragedy breaks my heart, and I cannot ignore the pain of my people. As a fellow human being, I am committed to doing everything I can to help.

I have contacted trusted local organizations in Myanmar and will ensure that 100% of the funds raised go directly to those in need. I will be donating all collected funds within 15 days to provide emergency food, clean water, medical aid, and temporary shelter for earthquake survivors.
