Somos una organización sin fines de lucro ubicada en San Pedro Sula,  Honduras dedicada a impartir clases de música orquestal como herramienta para el rescate del tejido social de nuestra comunidad y prevención a la violencia. En nuestro proyecto ahora contamos con 70 niños beneficiarios que realizan sus estudios en El CEB Primero de Febrero ubicada en la colonia Satélite y El C.E.B Presentación Centeno en el Bo. Cabañas. 4 de nuestros estudiantes han sido invitados a participar en el Tour Simanof Korea 2019, el cual se llevará a cabo del 19 al 29 de julio del 2019 en las ciudades Chuncheon, Seoul y Yongin. Ellos participarán en una orquesta Infanto-Juvenil de diferentes partes del mundo, y serán los embajadores que representaran nuestro bello país Honduras.

We are a non-profit organization located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras dedicated to teach orchestral music as a positive tool for at-risk children and to prevent violence. Four of our students have been invited to participate in the Simanof Korea 2019 Tour, which will take place from July 19 to 29, 2019 in the cities of Chuncheon, Seoul, and Yongin. They will participate in a Children/Youth Orchestra with kids from around the world, and they will be the representing Honduras as good will ambassadors of our beautiful country Honduras. Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Óscar Daniel Rodríguez Franco, y tengo 10 años. Soy estudiante del Centro de Educación Básica Primero de Febrero. Vivo en la colonia anexo, Buena Inversión en el sector Calpules , con mis dos hermanos menores, mis padres y el gato. Me gusta Proyecto Uremu porque me da el privilegio de aprender a tocar un instrumento y conocer nuevas personas. Mi pasatiempo es estudiar el universo y jugar con mis hermanos. Mi comida favorita es : el filete de pescado y pizza.
Me gusta jugar Jenga y carreras. Me gustaría viajar a Corea para poder conocer otras culturas y ser parte de la orquesta avanzada de SIMANOF ya que aprenderé más sobre la música.

Hi everybody! My name is Óscar Daniel Rodríguez Franco, and I am 10 years old. I am a student of the Primero de Febrero public school. My neighborhood is called Buena Inversion in the Calpules area. I live with my two younger brothers, my parents, and our cat. I like Proyecto Uremu because it gives me the privilege of learning how to play an instrument and meet new people. My hobby is studying the universe, and playing with my brothers. My favorite food is the fried fish and pizza. I like to play Jenga and racing. I would like to travel to Korea to get know other cultures and be part of the advanced SIMANOF orchestra because I will grow as a person and I will learn more about music.






Mi nombre es Hector Daniel Leiva Ham, tengo 14 años y desde hace 4 años pertenezco a Proyecto Uremu. En mi casa somos cinco, dos hermanas mayores, mis padres y yo. Estudio 9 grado en el Instituto Jose Trinidad Reyes y mi deseo es llegar a ser un gran arquitecto. Mi pasatiempo favorito es la música, el cine y leer. Me encanta ser parte de Proyecto Uremu he aprendido a ser tenaz y disciplinado.
Estoy muy emocionado por nuestro viaje a Corea porque sé que va a ser una experiencia inolvidable donde aprenderé mucho más acerca de la música aparte de compartir con más estudiantes, ese es mi sueño.

My name is Hector Daniel Leiva Ham, I am 14 years old and I have been an Uremu student for four years. We are a family of five: my two older sisters, my parents and I. I am in 9th grade at the Jose Trinidad Reyes Public Middle School and my wish is to become a great architect. My favorite hobby is music, movies, and reading. I love being part of Proyecto Uremu because I have learned to be tenacious and disciplined. I am very excited for our trip to Korea because I know it will be an unforgettable experience! I will be able to learn much more about music and I will also get to share with other students from around the world. This trip is my biggest dream!






Mi nombre es Alisson Leiva y estudio noveno grado en el Instituto José Trinidad Reyes. Tengo dos hermanos Edgardo y Ángel que también son estudiantes de Proyecto Uremu. Vivo en San Pedro Sula Honduras, en la Colonia Satélite donde esta ubicado mi núcleo orquestal.
Gracias a Proyecto Uremu porque tuve la oportunidad de descubrir que tenía talento musical, y me gusta que la maestra Marcela tenga paciencia, nos da amor y nos enseña muchas cosas, no sólo es aprender a tocar. Me gusta mucho escuchar música y tocar mi violín en mi tiempo libre. Me encanta comer pollo con tajadas y me gusta mucho jugar fútbol. Quisiera viajar a Corea porque es una manera de poner en alto nuestro país y Proyecto Uremu. Quiero mejorar mis técnicas musicales y me encantaría conocer no sólo Corea si no que muchos países haciendo lo que me encanta que es tocar violín.

My name is Alisson Leiva and I am in ninth grade at the Jose Trinidad Reyes Public Middle School. I have two brothers Edgardo and Ángel who are also students of Proyecto Uremu. I live in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, in Colonia Satelite where my music class is located. Thanks to Proyecto Uremu, I've had the opportunity to discover that I have musical talent, and I like that our teacher Marcela has patience, gives us love, and teaches us many things, it's not just learning how to play the instrument. During my free time, I like to listen to music and to play my violin. I love eating chicken with fried plantains and I love to play soccer. I would love to travel to Korea because it is a way to make Honduras and Proyecto Uremu proud. I want to improve my musical technique and I would love to know not only Korea but many other countries doing what I love which is playing my violin.






Mi nombre es Jose Alberto Medina, tengo 13 años. Mi familia esta conformada por mi mama, su esposo, mi hermano gemelo y uno que esta a punto de nacer.  Estudio en el instituto Jose Trinidad Reyes, y actualmente estoy cursando octavo grado. Mi comida favorita es la sopa de pollo. Me gusta muchos los juegos de mesa y los juegos en línea . En mi tiempo libre lo que mas hago es tocar mi instrumento que es la viola, ver videos para aprender a ejecutarla mejor.
Me gusta mucho Proyecto Uremu porque he aprendido a tocar un instrumento, y a vocalizar, he conocido muchos amigos, me he desenvuelto musicalmente y  por las presentaciones que hemos hecho como orquesta. Me gustaría viajar a Corea, porque conoceré nuevas culturas, y voy a ser parte de un evento que me va a llevara a ser un gran músico en un futuro. Estoy muy contento por haber sido uno de los seleccionados.¡Ayúdanos a cumplir nuestro sueño!



My name is Jose Alberto Medina, I am 13 years old. I live with my mother, her husband, my twin brother and the baby who is about to be born. I study at the Jose Trinidad Reyes Public Middle School and I am studying in eighth grade. My favorite food is chicken soup. I like board games and online games. What I do the most during my free time is play my viola and also watch videos to learn how to play it better. I really like Uremu because I have learned to play an instrument, and to vocalize. Also, I have get to know many friends, I have developed musically and for the presentations we have made as an orchestra. I would like to travel to Korea, because I will get to know a different culture, and, also, I will be part of a great experience that will lead me to be a great musician in the future. I am very happy to have been one of the selected ones. Please, help us to fulfill our dream!
