HOPE AND HEALING: FUNDS FOR NATHAN'S CONTINUED CARE - KIDNEY DIALYSIS AND PLANS FOR A TRANSPLANT ________________________________________
Nathan brings much joy to his community an excellent JV team football player, supportive church member, dedicated community volunteer, and an incredible son who brings happiness to everyone around him. Without any visible symptoms, our son Nathan was suddenly diagnosed with dangerously high blood pressure…something no parent expects to hear. What we soon learned was even more devastating: his kidneys had already failed. Nathan was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
He was rushed to the hospital, where he remained for an entire month as doctors worked to stabilize his condition and begin life-saving treatment. Everything changed overnight.
- We are getting closer to be cleared for a kidney transplant and will seek a living donor. Someone healthy and under 35 years of age.
- Through this incredibly difficult time, we have been deeply supported by the kindness and generosity of our community. Friends from church, school, family, new friends and those connected through Rotary and Lions Club have surrounded Nathan with prayers, encouragement, and financial support. We are profoundly grateful.
Nathan is a young man who brings joy, light, and kindness wherever he goes. The outpouring of love we have experienced reflects the impact he has had on so many lives and continues to do so.
- As we move forward, the financial realities of long-term care are beginning to grow. We are now seeking to raise an additional $14,000 to help cover ongoing medical expenses. An immediate need is $4,000 for a required wisdom teeth extraction, which is necessary for his continued treatment plan.
- We are asking for your support in two ways:
