Providing aid for Sally and Archie

The Wooroloo/Gidgegannup fires have been devastating, ripping through thousands of hectares of bushland and leaving many without homes.

On Monday evening, mum and Charly lost their beautiful home, along with everything but their dog, 3 violins, and one (of 25) guitars. Thankfully they are somewhat insured, however there are many that are not so fortunate...

Mum's wonderful friend and neighbour Sally, and her son Archie have suffered terribly, and it would mean the absolutely world if we can help them out. Following the death of her husband a number of years ago in a horrific car accident, Sally gave up her geology career to look after Archie, and has since struggled financially. Although they have been incredibly resilient and resourceful, the fire has dealt an incredible blow, and without insurance rebuilding will be extremely difficult.

Such a sobering event has left me feeling very small and helpless however since receiving so many heartfelt offers for assistance, I truly think we can make a difference where it is needed most. All the money raised will go towards Sally and Archie, and help them rebuild their life.
