Provide Winter Housing for Pakistani Families!

My name is Alan Drake. I have been working for years to provide help and support for orphan children in Pakistan. Now there is a great need to help 40 families who have been driven from their homes by religious persecutors.

We can secure housing for $200 per month per family for a total of $800 per family for the winter months. That is the price of rent set by the landlord of the property.

You may have seen this recently in the news. In many cases, these families have lost almost everything they owned. Mobs of persecutors attacked them, stole anything that was valuable and burned their homes and places of worship.

To escape these attacks, many family members fled from their towns and villages with their just the clothes on their backs and little else.

We have been able to provide cots and water jugs, along with a little food, but these families need shelter this winter.

We have an opportunity to provide temporary housing to help them survive the winter months. If we are not able to provide shelter, there is a great risk of sickness and possible death due to exposure, especially in rainy weather.

I have contacted a very prominent Christian evangelical association, but they replied to say, "Regretfully, we do not have a field office or any ongoing projects in Pakistan and are not in a position to provide assistance or pursue new partnerships. Instead, we are working diligently to fulfill existing ministry commitments."

I received this similar response from a global Christian relief organization: "While we understand your plight and are very sympathetic to your situation, unfortunately we are unable to assist at this time as our programming, and partnership opportunities are solidified for this current fiscal year."

It may be up to you and God to help these Pakistani families and young children survive the winter months!
