Provide Winter Clothes For Children Displaced By Conflict
Help provide children in conflict zones like Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, and Afghanistan with warm clothes this winter
Winter has arrived and for children like Felek* who have been displaced by conflict in Lebanon, a harsh winter without warm clothes increases their risk of hypothermia and infectious diseases.
“Winter is coming, and it’s already very cold here. We don’t have any means to keep warm, and we have no winter clothes… It breaks my heart to see my children shivering from the cold, but I have nothing to give them.”
– Hadla*, Felek’s mother, speaking a few days after reaching a displacement camp in Syria after feeling conflict in Lebanon
In Gaza, roughly 2 million people have been internally displaced since the conflict began in October 2023. They mostly shelter in overcrowded spaces with limited access to clean water and sanitation. This results in a sharp increase in the spread of diseases—which is exacerbated by a lack of warm clothing in the winter.
Thousands of children like Felek are struggling to survive freezing temperatures this winter. Your gift can make all the difference.
Warm clothes help children survive winter weather with minimal shelter. We’re racing against time to protect them from the bitter cold. Help us raise $5,000 and help provide warm winter clothes to children in conflict zones.
Donate today to keep a child warm this winter.
