Foresight is raising money for the Open Bionics Foundation (OBF), the charitable foundation of Open Bionics. Open Bionics is an award-winning designer, manufacturer and supplier of bionic limbs.

The Foresight WAE EIS, Foresight WAE VCT and Thames Ventures EIS have all invested into Open Bionics to support its growth.

The conflict in the Ukraine has been going on for more than a year now and in that time, according to UN data, nearly 20,000 Ukrainians have been killed or suffered life changing injuries. In January 2023, working in conjunction with the Superhuman charity, OBF fitted two Ukranian soldiers with bionic Hero Arms.

The cost of fitting a Hero Arm is £10,000. To raise money for this important cause,

Foresight staff are going to run, cycle and walk 2134.5km, the distance between

London and Kyiv, on 21st April.

We are targeting a fund raise of £20,000 to continue the provision of Hero Arms
