Provide Support to the Bastian Family

Last summer, Marcus Bastian's wife, Melinda, was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing weeks of tests and surgery. At the time, Melinda was also pregnant with their 4th child, which made her cancer treatment plan more complicated than usual. Despite this, Melinda and the entire Bastian family remained extraordinarily positive. Melinda began her treatment in late summer, and in November, Melinda delivered a healthy baby girl, who joined her two brothers and sister (all under the age of 9).

 

Throughout this journey, there have been many ups and downs, and Marcus has done an amazing job balancing work and caring for his family. Recently, doctors shared that the treatments were not going as well as they had hoped, and the Bastian family decided that they wanted Melinda to be as comfortable as possible, at home, surrounded by her beautiful family and loved ones.

 

The funds you donate through this page will be used to cover Marcus' time while he needs to be away from work caring for his family, childcare services, and an education fund for their children.
