Hi, my name is Frankie and I am currently volunteering with 4 year olds at a daycare called Emmanuel in Arusha, Tanzania! I am hoping to raise a little bit of money to help support these incredible children and the daycare by providing essential supplies they are in desperate need of - stationary, kitchen utensils, food, clothes etc. Some of the workbooks these children are writing in are barely still in tact not to mention the minuscule amount of porridge they receive a day; and yet they remain the happiest, most grateful kids never failing to make me smile and leaving my heart so so full. I completely understand that life is expensive and we all have our own worries to think about but here is an example of how so little goes such a long way over here: £4.50 per day feeds the ENTIRE school of 90 children their morning porridge and lunch!! I have therefore set my initial goal amount to £200 which equates to over 700,000 Tanzanian shillings!! Any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated - I will be paying for the supplies whilst I am out here and will give them to the school on the 10th of June which will be my last day!
