Help be close to my son, gas to make trips an essentials

Hello: My name is Tabitha. My son *on March 17 2025 (due to some things he was strongly battling with at that moment so he felt it was the only way to get out of his own head) he just wanted to be heard, understood and loved & didn't think he was~ so he attempted to take his own life by placing a Ruger 380 under his chin, pulling the trigger (it came out through the top back side of his head) this all happened while me an his pregnant gf was standing there beside him.. we couldn't do absolutely nothing to stop it from happening either bc it happened so quickly & we didn't know the severity of the whole situation till it all had happened.. He is currently at Mission Hospital in Asheville NO. can't get in the house up there that normally helps families due to personal reasons (which if you have questions *I'll gladly answer them) however we live in Morganton about a hour from where he is.... His gf an I had stayed there for 3 weeks without going anywhere or leaving him but once he started being more aware an actually was staying awake (due to the nature of him being there) we was informed only one of us could continue to stay over night (which is only right she stay bc he'd rather her be beside him through the night obviously* an she doesn't want to go back to their home alone where it happened an neither do I *plus* when she does need to go back to Morganton to take care of things I'm always happy to stay with him, even over night)... My car's about worn all the way out sadly an cuts off every time you stop slow down go to make a turn (it has been worked on and still needs quite a bit of work) so these trips aren't only very hard on me but my 97 Honda that is in desperate need of work, as well.. We had a fundraiser set by a friend to cover any medical cost, our bills (home, electric, storage, cars, insurance) an ect ~in which~ we got some raised on it an was able to cover the bills (in March), it helped with food gas an a few things needed along the way... yet... my other friend suggested that I should create my own page so i could have control over the money donated an so I could tell my story instead of someone else telling it for us... I picked up an air mattress from the friend that suggested me do the go fund me and had a friend give me a tent to use (now just have to find where I can put it up without getting in trouble, or been in a bad location where I may get robbed or ect) if anyone could find it in their hearts to help a little financially with the things needed (warm/dry place to sleep, gas,oil an ect to make the trips back an forth, maintenance if car was to break down (honestly), bills, food an ect) God knows I would forever be thankful and it would be deeply deeply appreciated * I really just want to be able to stay close to my son or atleast be able to get to him incase I'm needed or something was to happen unexpectedly also not really trying to put any more miles than I have to or more hardship on my car until I can afford to get it fixed/straightened out fully...

a cheap motel, a camp spot, or anything would be greatly greatly appreciate *

I am just trying to stay close or be able to get to him quickly if need be* maybe even have a roof over my head or a place I can put the tent to get out of the weather while I try to remain by him so i can spend every chance I have to be with my son.. also currently still in total shock by everything that's unfolded over last couple months but I am currently putting in applications so I don't have to feel like a bum for constantly reaching out when I was unexpectedly hit with this an everything else that's happened recently & just need a little help till we get through the storm over us
