Hi, my name is Jess and I am fundraising to give homeless young people supported by the charity Back Up North West a small bag of essentials such as sanitary pads, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, a toothbrush, snacks, and more this Christmas. 

Christmas is meant to be a time of kindness, coziness and giving but for many people living on the streets, it can be one of the coldest and loneliest times of the year. While most people spend time with family, enjoy meals and exchange gifts, many others are simply trying to survive another night in the freezing cold.

I want to change that, even if it’s just for a few days. No one should feel forgotten or alone on Christmas. By providing shelter, warmth, and basic necessities, I’m hoping to give young people facing homelessness some relief and comfort over the festive period. A warm bed, a hot meal, and a small bag of essentials may seem simple but for someone living on the streets, it can mean comfort, excitement and a moment of peace.
