Juan is my coworker. You would never know the struggles his family face when meeting him. His wife Monica has suffered for years with many health problems. She now has progressed to the final stages of kidney disease. Monica recently had a leg amputated and now is also blind. She is currently in hospice in Lemont. Juan is faced with the difficult task of working full time while trying to spend time with his wife who lives in hospice in Lemont, some 30 minutes away from his home. Recently he attempted to make arrangements to secure a final resting place for his wife. While experiencing financial hardship, this bill will strap his family for some time. After all of his family's suffering I would just love if we could help him take care of this financial burden. Juan shows up to work every single day with a smile ready to serve others. His first words are always positive and he is always thinking of those around him. He never complains and is resistant to sharing his suffering with others.
