Provide Oakland Students with School Supplies

Please support this fundraiser to ensure our amazing students are able to continue playing and learning while away from school!

With everybody Sheltered in Place and in-person school cancelled for the rest of the school year, families are being asked to home-school their children for the first time, without ever having the time or resources to prepare for such a change.

While some distance learning is happening online, many of our families still do not have internet access or devices. Even with technology, we believe our youngest students deserve hands-on learning opportunities away from the screen.

This money will go towards buying students the basic supplies they need to continue learning and exploring at home: books, art supplies, paper, markers, games, flashcards, and more.

Teachers in grades Kindergarten through Second will purchase supplies based on the interests and needs of their own students. Supplies will be sent directly to student homes.

Please help close the achievement gap that has always existed in public education. Help our students access what they need for at-home learning! They will be better prepared for their return to school, which we are all so excited for!
