My name is Thomas, and I am a U.S. citizen from New York managing this GoFundMe page on behalf of Samah Al-Soussi. I first met Samah in 2024, and she has shared with me the unimaginable hardships she and her children have had to endure throughout the onslaught on Gaza.

At this time, GoFundMe is not allowing individuals based in Palestine to create their own fundraisers on the platform, so I have established this page on the family's behalf. All proceeds from the fundraiser are sent to Samah weekly, and your contributions have been truly irreplaceable in meeting the family's needs, funding the boys' education, and managing unexpected costs.

Hello, I am Samah. I am 32 years old and from Gaza, Palestine. I was a kindergarten teacher and my husband worked as a driver. But, because of this conflict that is happening and we are exposed to in Gaza, I lost my job and I lost my home. My husband lost his job and his car, and we are no longer able to provide for our needs because there is no source of income.

I have three children; the eldest is Anas, 14 years old, Mustafa is 11 years old, and Zaid is 3 years old. My children lost a whole school year of their lives because of this war, and now they are missing out on a new school year. My three children, I can no longer provide for their basic needs such as food and clean drinking water, and I cannot provide them with a home.

We even lost the tent that sheltered us after they started shooting at us, and we were taken out of the camp we were in. Their father and I were unable to even provide a tent because we had no money.

Please donate to me and my family. My family survives through your donation and I know you are very humane. I will provide for my children's' needs until the end of the war.
