provide learning opportunities for CRHS students

Hello, my name is Tracey Heffernan and I am a culinary arts teacher at Cedar Ridge High School (CRHS) located in Round Rock, TX. The students and the program are very dear to my heart.

I am hoping to raise money for my culinary arts club students so I can continue to grow the culinary club program I created here at the school (groceries, supplies, tools, field trips, etc.). The CRHS students use the knowledge and skills they learn in the classroom to volunteer their time with afterschool projects for a variety of booster club banquets, bake sales, and charitable causes in the Round Rock area. For several years, I have assisted the students in working with the local YMCA to create, bake, and deliver assorted baked goods to displaced families, along with other local charities. The students and I are proud of the work we have done to give back to their community, but we must raise money to cover the costs of doing so (groceries, packing materials, tools, etc.)

This is where your generosity would be amazing! Any amount would help and be greatly appreciated. ALL FUNDS WILL GO TO THE STUDENT PROGRAM. If I am able to raise enough funds, I would like to take them to visit the culinary scene in New York City where they can tour culinary schools, have a meet & greet with chefs, and see firsthand the cultural landscape that New York City has to offer.

We have worked hard to raise money for this NYC trip for the past year, but are still short the funds we need to give all students who would like to attend this trip the opportunity.
